Mrs. Marianne Bruno Obituary (1941

QUINCY – Marianne (Hines) Bruno, 79, of Quincy, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 at her home. She was the wife of the late Anthony W. LaTorella. Born on June 19, 1941, she was a daughter of the late James Gordon and Dorothy Jordan Hughes. Marianne was a former resident of Dorchester. She enjoyed listening to music, the ocean and going out for a nice dinner and treasured a good cup of tea with great company. Marianne was a fan of Applejacks, fish cakes and beans and omelets. Always remember who talking to…LOL… She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Bebe) Hines of Everett, Annette Kesaris and her husband Anthony of Whitman and Marianne Hines-Juarez and her husband Walter of Dorchester; her sons, Anthony Hines of Dorchester, James Hines of Quincy and Christopher Hines of Quincy; her siblings, Patricia Dempsey of Point Blank, TX and Kevin Jordan and his wife Brenda McLean of Raynham; her 67 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; she also leaves her five nieces and one nephew. She was the mother of the late Robert Hines, sister of the late Thomas Gordon, grandmother of the late Samantha L Pinson and Aunt of the late Linda Pinieri and Michael Pinieri. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Marianne’s caretakers, James Hines, Tia Maria Smith and Dawn Marie Hines; also, to the NVNA and Hospice especially to Marybeth Spaulding, Helen Golden and Kay Golden for the amazing care they provided to Marianne. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at the McHoul Family Funeral Home, 354 Adams Street, Dorchester. A private funeral service and burial will take place on Friday. For the safety of those who wish to pay their respects, please do so in accordance with CDC, Federal and State guidelines including social distancing and the use of face masks.
