DORCHESTER – Joan M. Potter, 81, of Dorchester formerly of Roxbury on Jan. 14, 2014. Wife of the late William E. Potter Jr. Mother of William E. Potter III of SC John C. Potter of Boston Richard J. Potter of Plymouth Debra A. Potter of Dorchester Jean M. Livingston of Brockton And Robert F. Potter of Lynn Grandmother of 10; Great Grandmother of 11. Sister of Ethel Gansenberg of Marblehead and the late Frances Foot. Also many nieces and nephews. Housekeeper at Carney Hospital for 25 years. Visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 17 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. in the McHoul Family Funeral Home, 354 Adams Street, Dorchester. A funeral will be held on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a funeral Mass in St. Ann Parish, 243 Neponset Ave. Dorchester at 12 pm. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
