Crescencio "Chemo" Borrero, 92, of Dorchester, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, December, 10, 2019 at the Bostonian Nursing Home, Dorchester. Born on January 25, 1928 in Laras, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Jose and Rosaria Borrero. Chemo is survived by his two daughters, Darlene Troila her husband Michael of Canterbury NH and Janice Rathbun and her husband Joseph of Putnam CT; Jacqueline Soto his dear friend and mother of his children three stepsons, Frederick Soto of New Bedford, Michael Soto of Boston and Mark Soto of Boston; his grandchildren, Nicholas Kelly, Matthew Kelly and his wife Eliza, Ryan Troila, Anthony Troila, Giovanni Troila, Michael Troila, Angelina Brooks, Joseph Brooks and Dillon Brooks; his many siblings, Angelica Adamez, Edwardo Borrero, Francisca Borrero, Maria Luisa Borrero, Porfirio Borrero, Tomas Borrero, Milagros Borrero, Ovideo Borrero, Raphael Antonio Borrero and Santos Gonzalez; also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was the brother of the late Evarista Gonzalez Gavell and Sixto Gonzalez.
