Aura Salvador Obituary (1936 - 2021)

Aura E. Salvador, of Roxbury, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 84 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Benito Salvador, they were married for over 60 years. Daughter of the late Elifania Martinez and Jesus de Padua. Loving mother of 7 children. Cherished grandmother to 18 grandchildren. Aura also leaves many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Aura was born in La Roman, Dominic Republic and came to the United States in February in 1995. Before Arriving to the U.S., Aura and her husband ran a successful grocery store business in their neighborhood. They named it “El Gran Timon”. This business is still running today managed by her Son in DR. Aura was known to be hard working and very loving to those around her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Sunday, April 25, 202, from 5-8 PM at McHoul Funeral Home, 354 Adams Street, Dorchester. The funeral will be conducted on Monday, April 26, 2021 at 10 AM from the McHoul Family Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at Saint Mark Church, 1725 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. In lieu of flowers, donations in Aura’s name may be made to Genesis Cabral.
