He later moved to Holbrook and began his family with his best friend, his wife Karen and loving each other’s children as much as their own and enjoyed all the memories and laughs that they shared together. Danny worked as a Master Carpenter for many years. - The moment he could walk Danny was swinging a hammer. Carpentry and woodworking were in his blood! It was a guarantee that Danny would leave space a thousand times better that how he found it. Not only could Danny build anything, Danny would build anything for anyone, at any time. An undeniable master carpenter and truly generous with his skills, craft and time. When Danny wasn’t working you would often find him toiling away at some task that most would consider “work” but he was happiest when he was busy- working in the yard to keep the birds fed, the grass green and the squirrels away or working in the kitchen organizing, cooking massive pots of spaghetti sauce for dinner but overall Danny’s most favorite way to spend an afternoon was with his wife Karen, family and friends laughing, shooting the breeze, tipping back a few beers and making the kind of jokes that people continue to tell for years to come. - The Labbe family would like to humbly acknowledge and give thanks to the healthcare workers and medical staff at South Shore Hospital, especially Kellie who was an excellent care provider for Danny. - Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 4-8 PM at McHoul Family Funeral Home, 354 Adams Street, Dorchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 10 AM from the St. Ambrose Church, 240 Adams Street, Dorchester. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
